This is my third bracelet, but first one that is a chain. I opted for the chain, because the last two I wore daily and the string unfortunately wore out within 3 months.

I don't mind paying higher price for the chain, but I did feel that the latch was rather large and cheaply made. I feel like I could have gotten most the materials at a local Michaels store. Still a beautiful Morse code bracelet, but I prefer the look of my thread bracelets because of the delicate look versus the large chain clasp. I think both bracelets should be the same price given the quality of the product
